 DIRECTIONS TO THE OLD STABLES FROM THE M20 MOTORWAY TRAVELLING SOUTH

 

 

  • Leave the M20 motorway at Junction 8 and turn right at the roundabout at the top of the sliproad, signposted Lenham, Leeds Castle.

 

  • At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A20, signposted Lenham.

 

  • Continue to follow the A20.  After approx 8 miles take the 3rd exit at the roundabout, remaining on the A20, signposted Pluckley, Smarden.

 

  • In 0.3 miles, you will arrive in Charing.  Turn right just before the pelican crossing into Station Road, signposted Pluckley, Smarden.

 

  • After 3 miles you will arrive at Pluckley.  Upon entering the village you will see a sign to the Black Horse pub car-park on your left.

 

  • Take the next left into The Street (signposted Village Shop & Post Office).

 

  • Turn immediate right opposite the steps to the Black Horse pub, passing between the village shop and the butcher.  The Old Stables is the cottage on the right.  There are 2 gravel parking spaces available directly outside the cottage, but please do not park your car anywhere else in the courtyard. Additional parking is available in the village square outside the Black Horse pub.

 

Approximate journey time from Junction 8 of the M20 to The Old Stables is 15 minutes

 

 

 

 

 DIRECTIONS TO THE OLD STABLES FROM THE M20 MOTORWAY TRAVELLING

NORTH

 

 

  • Leave the M20 motorway at Junction 9 and take the first exit at the roundabout, signposted Ashford, Canterbury, Tenterden.

 

  • At the next roundabout turn right (4th exit) signposted A20, Lenham.

 

  • Continue on the A20 for 4.9 miles to the village of Charing.  Turn left at Charing into Station Road, signposted Pluckley, Smarden.

 

  • After 3 miles you will arrive at Pluckley.  Upon entering the village you will see a sign to the Black Horse pub car-park on your left.

 

  • Take the next left into The Street (signposted Village Shop & Post Office).

 

  • Turn immediate right opposite the steps to the Black Horse pub, passing between the village shop and the butcher.  The Old Stables is the cottage on the right.  There are 2 gravel parking spaces available directly outside the cottage, but please do not park your car anywhere else in the courtyard.
